Curiosity

Curiosity killed the cat.
Well, I'd like to meet that cat
And learn from his mistakes.
I'm far too taken
By temptation
Of another dangerous
Situation.
Repeating the same mistake
Over and over.
Like a piss-take, to those
Who defy me to do anything
And everything.
Maybe if that cat
That much mentioned cat,
Had a chat with me
Maybe then I'd see:
Hangovers and humiliation
Are to be learnt from.
Not repeated.
